Registration

Registration for our 2026/2027 Season is currently closed, and will reopen in January. However, feel free to peruse the information below until then!

To register, please complete either the Student Registration Form or the Adult Ballet Registration Form and email the scanned version to mercedacademyofdance@gmail.com and submit your first payment of one month’s tuition plus a Registration Fee in-person, online (through a payable invoice with a 3% convenience fee), or by mailing it to: Jane Vann-Bryan 248 Santa Lucia Lane, Marina, CA 93933. All of these steps may be completed by coming to the studio office during operating hours; Monday/Wednesday: 4:00-7:00pm and Tuesday/Thursday: 4:00-6:30pm.

Please be advised that classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis, and some classes may fill quite quickly. If you are registering by mail, you are not guaranteed the class of your choice.  If a class is already full, you will be contacted to make schedule changes.

Tuition is based on 36 weeks of classes, and is payable yearly, by semester, or in 10 monthly payments. There are no refunds for missed classes. Only absences due to illness can be made up in another class. Please see your teacher or the office staff to arrange make-up classes. Monthly payments are due on the 1st with a $10 late fee added for payments made after the 10th day of any month. If a student(s) drops a class mid-year you will be responsible for the remaining tuition due, unless a written notice or email is sent to the office staff two weeks prior to departure. This enables us to open the spot to a student on the waiting list.

Academy Students:
Registration Fee: $35.00 per family. Note: Non-refundable; is waived only for students paying by semester or year.

Performance/Costume Fee: $85.00 per student. Due November 1st. Note: Non-re4fundable and cannot be pre-rated.

Late Tuition Fee(s): $10.00 added onto tuition paid after the 10th of the month, and each subsequent month late.

Sibling Discount: Younger siblings may deduct 20% from their tuition fee.

Adult Ballet:
Individual classes: $20.00 paid before each class.

Punch card: $135.00 for a 10-class card. Note: class cards do not expire and you may take all three weekly classes (Ballet Technique on Monday/Wednesday and Ballet Fit on Tuesday) or attend whenever best fits your schedule.

Acceptable Payment Methods:
Check, cash, credit/debit cards(with a 3% convenience fee), and charter school credits are all adequate forms of payment.
Please note that charter funds may only be used for tuition and cannot be applied to your Registration Fee and/or Performance Fee(s).
Families may choose to opt in to online payments which are sent via email and fulfilled by credit/debit cards only with a pre-applied 3% service fee (paid upon registration).

Younger siblings may each deduct 20% off of their tuition fee. We will accept credit card payments at the studio. Please note that there is a 2.75% additional charge for this service.
